BODYBEATS is a small Dance school based on the Gold Coast.
We offer affordable HIP HOP & Contemporary / Lyrical classes for (Kids, Teens & Adult) of ALL LEVELS.

Bodybeats was founded in 2004 by Head Instructor/Choreographer: Catheryne James.
Cat also founded the Griffith University UNI-fied dance club in which she President of until 2018, she has been a Dance workshop facilitator of School Holiday Programs held at (Runaway Bay, Helensvale & Thrower House) Youth Centers, Lunchtime Dance Programs at Labrador State School and been a Guest Instructor and or Choreographer at (Coombabah, Robina, Benowa & Keebra State High Schools).
She has extensive experience in the industry since graduating from Adelaide's: "Centre for the Performing Arts" in 1997 with an Associate Diploma in DANCE (Performance Art).
After graduating Cat worked for 6yrs with at number of SA "Youth Arts" Companies as Resident Instructor/Choreographer for Dance/Theater Productions. She has also performed with several Freelance Dance/Theatre companies for the Fringe and Adelaide Festivals, before relocating the GC.
Cat is available to teach Community Classes, Workshops, or Tailored Choreography for Schools, Universities, and Community Events. Hi-Energy Dance Routines that fuse Hip Hop with elements of Street and Commercial Dance Styles as it is popular with today's Kids and Youth.
Other Styles Available: Contemporary (Lyrical), Dance Fitness, and Flash Mobs.
